The Bushnaf family proudly carries a distinguished legacy in the legal and legislative fields, beginning in 1945 with the appointment of the late Khalifa El Gharyani Bushnaf as a Sharia Judge in the city of Al-Marj. He was one of the pioneering legal figures in Libya. In 1951, he was elected as a member of the Legislative Council of Cyrenaica and served in this position until 1961, when he became the Council’s President for two years. The late Khalifa El Gharyani Bushnaf left an indelible mark on the history of Libyan legislative work, setting a standard of integrity and leadership.

The family’s legacy continued with Ibrahem Khalifa Bushnaf, who began his legal career as a Public Prosecutor in 1980. Over the years, he held several prestigious legal positions, including Judge, President of the State Security Court, and Attorney General. He later served as Minister of Interior and currently holds the position of National Security Advisor, where he continues to strengthen the rule of law and support Libya’s progress.

Building on this legacy, Nader Ibrahem Bushnaf founded the Nader Bushnaf Law Firm and House of Expertise. He started his career as a Military Prosecutor in 2004 and transitioned to the role of Public Prosecutor in 2007.
In 2015, he resigned from his post to dedicate himself to the field of law, establishing a firm that has since grown into one of Libya’s most prominent legal service providers, combining innovation and expertise in legal practice.
